Jon Bernthal

Jon E. "Jon" Bernthal
(Born September 20, 1976) was born and raised in Washington D.C where he graduated from Sidwell Friends school. After high school he studied at Skidmore college in New York and later attended The school of Moscow art Theatre.

He was discovered by the director of Havard's University's institute for advanced theatre training at the American Repertory Theatre in Cambridge, Massachusetts and was invited to study his masters degree there. He graduated in 2002 from the American Repertory theatre with a master of fine arts.

He has played such roles as Sgt. Manuel Rodriguez in The Pacific and Shane Walsh in The Walking Dead.

Along with L.A. Noir, Jon has worked with expert director Frank Darabont on AMC's The walking dead.

He currently plays the role of Joe Teague on L.A. Noir
